High Protein Food For Bengals
Bengals need high protein food. Choosing a food that says "high protein" may not be high enough. Look at the back of the bag and make sure it has at least a minium of 40% protein. At the time of writing this, May 2024, below were some of our favorite high protein cat foods with their price and label info.

Wet Food, Treats, etc
We are currently feeding our kittens and cats Blue Buffalo Wilderness High Protein Grain Free Wet Cat Food Chicken & Salmon flavor. We will also mix in Tiki Cat wet food in a few different varieties. Remember when choosing wet food to avoid by-products and get one that says no corn, wheat, or soy. Sometimes when kittens arrive at their new homes they don't want to eat. The Tiki Cat baby mousse is great for this issue. They can't resist the flavor. If you are getting a kitten from us and you want them to transition really well I would get all the recommended wet foods below. Our kittens also really enjoy Blue Buffalo Bursts treats. Our picky bengals will eat the not so healty Temtations Kitten Treats. LOL!

Best Cat Litter For Bengals
We love Dr. Elsey's Kitten Attract litter. Especially for kittens in a new house since it attracts them to it. We also use the low tracking litter in our Litter Robot.
Litter Boxes We Love
We use the Van Ness litter box for our mama's and kitten in the nursery. (swinging door taken off) We LOOOOVE our Litter Robot 4 and use it for the cats running around our house. They even have stylish furniture to hide your litter robot! I used to encourage people to use products like the City Kitty to toilet train their bengals because I had clients that successfully did it. I no longer recommend doing this after one of my clients cats had litter box issues after using the toilet. Cat waste belongs in a litter box. They are not people and should not be encouraged to try to balance on a toilet. Their natural instinct is to bury their waste. Don't take that away from them.
Our Favorite Bengal Cat Toys
Here's some of our absolute favorite toys for our bengal cats that will keep them entertained for hours! Interactive toys by a brand called ORSDA have held up really well and have multiple activities for the cats. We have the "ambush feather/fluttering butterfly/track balls interactive toy" and the "laser whack a mole toy interactive toy." You will see our kittens playing with these toys in our YouTube Videos. If your cat will be home for hours alone, these are perfect because the cat can turn them on themselves just by starting to play with them!
Finally!!!! A cat wand toy holder!! A place to hold and organize all those cute wands so they don't get tangled up!

This cat interactive laser toy is really great because it does a random pattern instead of just a circle. It also will turn on randomly for your cat if you choose that setting.
We love this value pack of mice cat toys. It comes with 27 ! They come in lots of sizes, textures, colors, and patterns. Some rattle and all of them have cat nip. The knit ones are just so adorable! Sometimes I set them aside for photo shoots only! Lol!
Bengal cats just LOVE water! So you know they are gonna go crazy for this interactive cat water toy!! Their very own bowl of swimming entertainment. What more could they ask for?!
If you prefer you can just throw a few of the swimming robot fish cat toys into the bath tub and let your bengal cat go crazy!
Cat Trees Your Bengal Will Love
My absolute favorite brand of cat trees is Mau. They are so beautiful and look really nice in any room instead of being a eye sore. Every part of the tree is replaceable. So if your cat tears up the rope part after a year you can just order more rope! Genus!
Scratching Post
Here's our favorite scratching posts. Pro Tip: Have a small one in every room while they are young.
Cat Wheels
When shopping for a cat wheels it's important to make sure the inner portion of the wheel is 1 1/2 times the lenght of your cat. Anything less than this will put unnatural strain on a cat’s spine when running.
Bath Time & Grooming
Bengals bathe themselves multiple times a day. They don't really have to have a regular bath but here's some of our favorite products for them and the ragdolls. Waterless baths and wipes make bath time for kitty stress free.
Ragdoll Grooming
These are must have grooming supplies for ragdolls if you want their coat to look really beautiful and healthy! Never use a furminator or thinning brush on a ragdoll. The brushes/combs below are the ONLY ones we use on our dolls. I know the brush says it's for dogs. I've been to enough cat shows and groomed enough ragdolls and I can promise you this is the brush you need for you ragdoll cat. The happy kitty spray is really great for between baths and Chris
Christensen makes the best shampoo.
Vitamins & Probiotics
All of our cats and kittens are given vitamins and probiotics(as needed). We mix it into every bag of dry food that we open. It's essential for a young kittens immature immune system. For more information about NuVet Plus and why you should give your kitty vitamins read here. The two probiotics below are our favorites.
Best Cat Water Fountains
Bengals absolutely love fresh water. If you want a happy Bengal cat, get them a water fountain. Cats are prone to dehydration, and a fountain encourages them to drink more. While it might be cute to see them drink from a running sink, most people don't have whole-house water filtration systems. Pet Libro is our favorite brand of fountains. They offer great filtration and many other features, including a cordless fountain. At our house, our Bengals only drink filtered water. Even though we have a whole-house filtration system, we still use fountains because they prefer running water, and it helps filter out any dirt or hair that may get into the bowl.
Cat Carriers, Kennels, and Backpacks
The cat backpack is our new favorite thing! With a cat backpack you can easily take your kitten with you everywhere you go.
Bengal Cat Training Products
Luckily bengals are very easy to train! These products will help.
PetSafe Ssscat Cat Spray Deterrent
This is one of the best cat products I have ever bought! Not only is it good for cats, but you can use it to scare your kids! It took ONE spray from this and Katie never jumped on my counter again. Amazing... SSSCat Cat Deterrent on Amazon. You will get 80-100 sprays out of one can and the refills are here.
Cat Beds, Cat Window Seats, Cat Lounges & Hideouts
Your cat will absolutely LOVE any of these special nap spots. Bengals love to be up high and these are the perfect wall or window mounted spots just for them.
Bengal Walking Harnesses, Collars, and ID Tags
It's very important to always keep a collar and ID tag on your cat. While your kitten will come microchipped, many people won't take the time to check if a found cat is microchipped. However, they are more likely to call a phone number on a tag if they find a lost pet.

All the kittens here wear colored velcro collars, so you will be able to identify who is who in the videos. This also helps when you put a real collar on them for the first time. They really don't mind it compared to kittens who have never experienced the sensation of wearing a collar.

When they first go home, very few collars will fit them properly because their necks are so tiny. These are the best-sized ones I have found for cats under 6 months old.
If you want to take your kitty out exploring, the safest way to do it is with a walking harness. Bengals learn to walk on a leash just like a dog would—maybe even a little faster, in my opinion.

Bengals really dislike large tags dangling from their collars, so it's best to find the smallest one possible, like the one pictured below.
Food and Water Bowls
It's best to use heavy ceramic bowls with bengals. Bengals don't overeat so if you have a nice big food bowl you can fill it up and your kitty will eat when they are hungry.

If your going to stick with a traditional bowl fill it with filtered fridge water, spring bottled water, or you can get an inexpensive Brita pitcher. It reduces chlorine, copper, mercury, and cadmium. It's much better for you and your fur-babies.
Pet Cleaning Products
Whether it's a cat, dog, or kid if an accident happens you will want to use a highly effective enzymatic cleaning product. These are the most effect products that I have found for cleaning pet stains. They also have a massive amount of reviews on amazon with high star ratings. I use a combination of each and always use the orange one last because it's got a really nice smell. In my experience Natural's Miracle is just a huge waste of money.
Cat Deodorizing Spray
For those of you wanting to know what spray I used that made your kitten smell so good when you took them home, here ya go! Yes, it says it's for dogs but it's fine for cats. It's organic and we've used it for years.
Our Favorite Product of the Month!
We are absolutely LOVING these crinkle cat nip butterfly toys we bought for the bengals and ragdolls. They come in different sizes and the little antenna and crinkle sound really entices the cats. They are durable so far and just so pretty!
Cool Stuff for Pet Parents
Animal Hearted has apparel and gifts for animal lovers. They have some of the funniest cat and dog shirts I've ever seen! The company is very generous and 25% of the proceeds goes to helping dogs, cats, and other animals. You can also have your pets picture put right on a shirt!
